Lift/Elevator Engineer
Job Description:
- Design and plan elevator and lift systems for buildings, considering safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and other professionals to integrate elevator systems into overall building designs.
- Specify and select elevator components, ensuring compatibility with building structures and codes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost estimates for elevator installations and modernizations.
- Review and approve elevator shop drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
- Supervise and inspect elevator installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to elevators, collaborating with maintenance teams.
- Stay informed about advancements in elevator technology and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vertical transportation needs and tailor elevator solutions accordingly.
