Chief Accountant
Job Description:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for review and analysis
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and address audit findings
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and maintain data integrity
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making processes within the organization
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability.
