  • Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
  • Developing an organizations procurement rules and regulations.
  • Hiring and training new staff
  • Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items.
  • Buying goods and services for the company
  • Discussing contracts
  • Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the managerial role.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to create and implement strategies.
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills.
