Job Description:
- Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
- Developing an organizations procurement rules and regulations.
- Hiring and training new staff
- Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items.
- Buying goods and services for the company
- Discussing contracts
- Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the managerial role.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to create and implement strategies.
- Good analytical and conceptual skills.
