Job Purpose:
The CEO will have full accountability for the company's overall performance, leading sustainable and profitable growth while strengthening operational excellence, financial discipline, and organizational capability. The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic direction with strong execution across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy, Growth & Value Creation
Define and execute the companys short and long term strategy aligned with shareholders and Board objectives.
Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across markets, products, channels, and partnerships.
Ensure growth initiatives are financially viable, operationally scalable, and aligned with the companys brand and capabilities.
Translate strategy into clear, measurable execution plans across the organization.
2. Financial Performance & Profitability
Full accountability for company P&L, EBITDA, and Net Profit.
Drive margin improvement through pricing strategy, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews with the Board.
Ensure disciplined capital allocation and return on investment for growth initiatives.
3. Operational Excellence
Set and own company-wide operational performance standards across all functions.
Ensure scalability, consistency, and resilience of operations to support.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
Hold executive team accountable for operational outcomes through clear KPIs.
4. Organization, Leadership & Culture
Lead, develop, and evaluate senior leadership team across key functions.
Build a high-performance, accountable culture aligned with the companys values and strategic ambitions.
Ensure organizational readiness for growth, including structure, capabilities, and talent depth.
Drive succession planning and leadership development to ensure long-term sustainability.
5. External Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary representative of the company with key external stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, partners, and regulators.
Strengthen the companys market positioning and reputation through effective external engagement.
6. Risk, Turnaround & Crisis Management
Anticipate and manage business risks proactively.
Demonstrate strong crisis management and turnaround capability when required.
Ensure business continuity and operational resilience across the organization.
7. Operating Environment:
The CEO will operate within a highly competitive and growth-oriented market, with full responsibility for positioning the company to achieve sustainable, profitable expansion.
The role requires ensuring that the organizations strategy, operating model, leadership capabilities, and resources are aligned to support long-term growth objectives and evolving market dynamics.
8. Communications and working Relationships:
The CEO serves as the principal point of contact with Board of Directors and is responsible for maintaining clear, structured, and transparent communication on business performance, risks, and strategic priorities.
Externally, the CEO represents the company at an executive level with key stakeholders, including strategic partners, regulators, major suppliers, and the wider business community, safeguarding the companys reputation and strategic interests.
Framework, Boundaries, Decision-Making Authority, and Responsibility:
The CEO holds boards executive authority to lead and manage the business within the strategic framework and governance policies approved by the Board.
The role is fully accountable for executive decision-making related to strategy execution, organizational effectiveness, financial performance, and overall business results, ensuring alignment with Board-approved objectives and long-term value creation.
Skills
Candidate Profile:
10-15 years of leadership experience within F&B industries
Bachelor degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
Previous experience as CEO, Managing Director, or General Manager
Proven track record in scaling operations, improving profitability, cost discipline, and managing complexity.
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Operationally grounded leadership style
Ability to balance growth with control
