Strong Force Staffing is the exclusive recruiting partner for a premier 234-bed acute care facility in Portsmouth, NH, seeking a Nurse Manager to lead its Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit. This is a permanent, W2 leadership position with the provider offering competitive pay, full benefits, and relocation/sign-on bonuses (case-by-case basis).

Position Details:
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Day Shift)
Salary: $96,720 - $145,080 per year (based on experience)
Relocation & Sign-On Bonus: Available for qualified candidates
Unit: Progressive Care Neuro Trauma

Pay Breakdown:

• Hourly Rate: $46.50 - $69.75 per hour (based on experience)
• Overtime Pay: 1.5x base hourly rate
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
• Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nurse Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team within the Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit, working closely with the Director of PCNT to maintain top-tier patient care standards. The role requires strong leadership, the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, patient-team rounding, and ensuring patient and family satisfaction
• Monitor and evaluate the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team, including PCNT Director, educators, physicians, and HR
• Provide leadership in employee performance evaluations, staff development, and compliance with regulatory standards

What Were Looking For:

• Must have served as a Nurse Manager for at least 1 full year in the last 3 years
• 3-7 years of acute care nursing experience in a critical care environment
• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Active RN license in NH or valid Compact State License
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PCCN, TNCC, or TCAR certification preferred
