Overview

A global partnership seeks a Temporary Director of Compliance and Budget to oversee award management and ensure compliance with federal rules and regulations. The Director will be vital in managing and monitoring federally-funded grants, developing grant budgets, and implementing financial oversight on subawards and project implementation.

Details
  • The Director will work for 120 hours per month.
  • The contract is for a duration of 6 months, from March to September 2024.
  • This is a Director-level role.
Responsibilities
  • Strategize alongside the VP of Finance, staying connected to opportunities and knowledge about federal grants compliance.
  • Oversee the Compliance and Budget team responsible for federal grant activities.
  • Review program budgets and forecasts, ensuring project spending aligns with timelines.
  • Monitor spending and review procurement requests and vendor contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with US government regulations and guide program teams through federal award processes.
  • Coordinate all stages of grantmaking, including due diligence assessments and tracking grants.
  • Manage the programmatic grants portfolio and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 6-12 years of experience in program management, compliance, finance management, or related roles.
  • Expertise in compliance with US government regulations, particularly 2 CFR 200 and Dept

B/Suite Requirements for Directors
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in your area of expertise
  • Experience in leadership roles with management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large projects

Compensation

Starting compensation for Director-level executives is $70/hour. All consultants are 1099 contractors. All executives are eligible for referral bonuses and free coaching and development.
