Accountant

The JOB HOUSE recruitment agency (License 505), on behalf of its client, is looking for an Accounting Officer.

The Accounting Officer is responsible for the maintenance of the accounting and financial records of the Company and ensuring that information is up to date and accurate.

The role: 

Executing the core accounting process in relation to the Company's Operations,

including the issuance of statements and results for each courier etc.

Coordinating cash collections, performs reconciliation and updating the

accounting system accordingly.

Liaising with other colleagues for resolving any queries regarding financial results,

fees due etc.

Managing the financial bookkeeping of the Company and updating accounts.

Preparing and submitting tax returns, VAT returns and Social Insurance

contributions.

Preparing ad hoc reports.

Requirements: 

Holder of a diploma/degree in Accounting.

Fluent in Greek and English (written and verbal).

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel is essential.

Time management and organisation skills.

Attention to detail.

Communication skills.
