About the job Area Manager
The JOB HOUSE recruitment agency (License 505), on behalf of its client, is looking for an Area Manager in Nicosia.
The Area Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Company's own stores within Nicosia, ensuring their smooth operation and profitability.
The role:
Oversees the operation of the stores and ensures their smooth and efficient operation
Monitors the profitability of the stores and suggests/takes appropriate actions to increase
profitability, when needed
Ensures all stores have the technology and equipment needed to operate effectively (i.e.,
computers, cash registers, TVs etc.)
Responsible for the sourcing, recruitment, training, and management of store employees
Prepares shift schedules following the Company's guidelines to ensure a fair and non-
discriminatory approach, as well as the smooth running of the store
Monitors and reviews employee performance and provides feedback for improvement
Ensures the provision of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction without exposing
the company to risk
Handles difficult situations with clients and escalated customer complaints effectively and on a
timely manner
Has an excellent knowledge of his/her regional area of responsibility and keeps up to date with
developments that affect the business
Identifies and suggests to the Head of Retail areas/locations which could be utilized for the
expansion of the Companys operations, considering all necessary parameters (location, local
customer base, competition etc.)
What profile we are looking for:
BSc Degree will be considered an advantage
Minimum five years of experience in a supervisory position in the retail industry, at least three of them in a supervisory role
Fluent in Greek and English
High Integrity
Strong communication and customer service skills
Strong Problem-Solving skills
Strong People Management skills
Good knowledge of the local market
