Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Lexus Brand & Communications Associate to join our Lexus Brand Department based in Makati City.

The Lexus Brand & Communications Associate supports the management of brand communications through public relations, media relations, content development, and partnerships. The role focuses on strengthening the brand's presence through strategic storytelling, media engagement, and coordination with internal and external partners.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Public Relations & Media Relations:
    Maintain strong relationships with media partners and external contacts of Lexus Philippines. Coordinate press releases, interviews, and editorial opportunities to help uplift the Lexus brand image. Prepare media briefs and support possible media-seeded stories.
  2. Content Development & Partnerships:
    Assist in planning and conceptualization of brand content and external communication initiatives. Coordinate with media partners and agencies on content production and ensure alignment with brand standards.
  3. Influencer & Media Engagement:
    Coordinate collaborations with influencers, lifestyle publications, and PR agencies. Support partnerships with lifestyle and automotive media outlets for brand exposure.
  4. Sponsorship & Partnership Management:
    Assist in the review, evaluation, and endorsement of sponsorship opportunities and partnership requests aligned with Lexus brand values.
  5. Media Monitoring & Reporting:
    Monitor brand coverage across traditional and digital media platforms, track trends, and provide regular reports on brand visibility and sentiment.
  6. Speech Writing & Brand Messaging:
    Support the development of speeches, key messages, and communication materials for brand executives and official engagements.
  7. Event & Media Activity Coordination:
    Assist in the planning and execution of media events, press drives, and brand activations. Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
  8. Asset & Partnership Coordination:
    Support the management and safekeeping of brand communication assets and coordinate partnership initiatives such as demo units or collaborative activities.

Our Perfect Match:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Advertising, Marketing Management, or Market Research.
  • You have strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging brand messages.
  • Writing experience is required (sample works must be submitted as part of the application).
  • You are a people person who enjoys building relationships with media, agencies, and partners.
  • You are proactive and able to take initiative in managing tasks and coordinating projects.
  • You are organized and capable of handling multiple activities such as media coordination, content development, and events support.
  • You demonstrate attention to detail and can effectively monitor deliverables, timelines, and outputs.
  • You can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Interest or familiarity with lifestyle, luxury, and automotive brands is an advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills (required).
  • Basic copywriting and content development skills.
  • Knowledge of public relations, media relations, and influencer engagement.
  • Familiarity with traditional and digital media platforms.
  • Experience coordinating with PR agencies, magazines, and lifestyle publications is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong coordination, organization, and supplier communication skills.
