We're now looking for an experienced and motivated Transaction Manager to join our new Ford sales team in Truro - Cornwall.

Accountable to the Sales Manager, the main purpose of a Vospers Transaction Manager is to assist with the sales volumes for retail and MOTAB, profit control and activity within the sales force, ensuring each customer receives exemplary customer service. Additionally, the Transaction Manager will help assist the Sales Manager in the successful running of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and establish a rapport using a range of different sales techniques, establishing proven current vehicle ownership status and part-exchange settlement figures, and customers future requirements of the finance solution
  • Match relevant products to customer needs, whilst presenting both applicable features and benefits of each product including add-on products, through maintaining a working knowledge of brand quality standards and maintaining control of all negotiations to successfully close to maximize both metal and financial profit
  • Ensure you comply with all Financial Services Authority (FCA) requirements in the advising, selling and administration of all products, producing accurate settlement figures, and explaining all major tax, VAT and balance sheet implications where relevant
  • Validate documentation to the finance house by fax to ensure satisfactory acceptance of the proposal and payment, ensuring all outstanding finance and documentation is secured prior to delivery
  • Record all customer information accurately and comprehensively in line with Vospers requirements and filed appropriately
  • Completion of Vospers FCA training programme as pass 6 monthly re-assessments
  • Produce a consistently high level of customer satisfaction, developing relations beyond initial sale through follow-up systems, and responding to enquiries promptly and courteously
  • Develop and maintain all prospecting activity by the Sales team ensuring effectiveness and consistency, supporting promotions, marketing, planning of events and advertising to crease awareness of Vospers, analysing team performance and reporting to Sales Manager when required
  • Attendance at sales meetings and working with colleagues both within and outside of the sales department, demonstrating behaviours that always align to Vospers Core Values

What Were Looking For

  • Strong communication skills, verbally on the telephone and face-to-face
  • Professional, well organised, punctual & flexible
  • Driven to deliver results combined with the patience required to achieve this through medium- and long-term relationship building
  • Proactive with the ability to take initiative
  • Confident with IT/Finance software packages, and the ability to complete tasks to a high standard
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Full UK driving licence is essential

Salary

£30,0000 - £50,000 OTE

Working Schedule

42.5 hours per week
