The Role

Vospers are recruiting for a Smart Repair Technician to cover repairs at across Plymouth and Cornwall

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

• Carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles.
• Act as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician undertaking all aspects of the repair as required.
• Work effectively as a lone worker
• Full use of PPE and adherence to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairs.
• Smart Repairer must adhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs.
• Liaise with other internal colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamworking.
• Smart Repairer must ensure any administration or supporting documentation is produced in line with company process.
• Ensure efficient working by adhering to defined repair completion time

Qualifications/Skills

• Must have a valid UK driving licence
• You will have previous experience as a Smart Repairer or Multi Skilled Technician, or in a specialist Bodyshop productive role such as a Painter or MET Technician.
• An industry recognised qualification is a distinct advantage.
• You must be a strong team player with self-motivation.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
