The SMSI Group is a diversified business with a footwear heritage. Founded in 1994 as a footwear trading materials company, Shoemaker’s Shop Inc., the parent company, has evolved into an important player in the Philippine retail industry, securing the distribution rights of some of the world’s popular and beloved brands such as Hush Puppies, Vionic, Sebago, G.H. Bass, K-Swiss, Palladium, and Scholl, and operating over a hundred outlets in key cities across the Philippines.

Over the years the SMSI group has created and executed global brand strategies in the localized retail setting, often achieving rapid expansion for its key brand in a few years and strategically growing them to their full potential. These have been achieved through the leadership of the company’s owners who directly oversee operations, with emphasis on efficient retail operations, strategic marketing executions, and financial discipline.
